Darlene is a Canadian at heart but was drawn to settle in Port Macquarie 15 years ago with her husband Nigel and now two beautiful children. With many years of practicing yoga Darlene found her calling to become a spiritual and healing yoga teacher. In 2017, Darlene completed her 200hr YTT and has since found authentic joy and a deeper passion guiding students through their own yoga journey. She is a big sharer of her experiences of yoga both on and “off the mat”. Not only does Darlene offer yoga she offers a way of life.
Bachelor of Education, Pilates Practitioner
Fiona discovered Pilates in 2012 at Bodiline, in search for a method of exercise to help with scoliosis. Pilates has since been the key in strengthening Fiona's body and for the management of pain. Fiona's roots in teaching began in 1992 with a Bachelor of Education. With the passion growing for Pilates and the love of teaching, in 2016 she started her Pilates teaching journey with a Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology. Fiona continues to advance her education attending workshops and in 2020 she'll further this in Barre Body and Yin Yoga.
Remedial Massage Therapist, Mat Pilates Practitioner
Karen has many years of experience in Massage, over 20 years in fact and has lectured is this modality across Australia too. Throughout her career she has witnessed differing versions of the human form and continues to be inspired to help clients get back to living a healthier and more meaningful life. Passionate about the human form, its capabilities and possibilities, Karen soon found a new way to support body mechanics and movements through Pilates. In 2018 she completed her Mat Pilates qualifications and integrates both modalities together; being present to experience body mechanics and supporting movements enabling clients to move authentically and holistically.

Kate’s Pilates journey started in 2008 when she was first introduced to a Pilates Reformer at her workplace. She instantly fell in love with the training possibilities it opened up for all her clients, young and old, recovering from injury, post partum woman, elite athletes, everyone from all walks of life. She is constantly inspired by the positive impact Pilates had on everyday people to be healthier - mentally, physically and emotionally. Kate has a passion for neurological rehabilitation and women’s health and helping all her clients incorporate exercise into their life. When Kate is not working (and not doing Pilates), you will find her at the beach with her husband and kids.
Pilates Practitioner
Kathy began training in the Pilates method in 2005, looking to build strength for an active lifestyle of surfing and soccer. Suffering a chronic SIJ injury 5yrs later she discovered the power of the Pilates method not only for strength and tone but rehabilitation. She continued her Pilates journey by becoming a Pilates Practitioner, undergoing the Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology with Tensegrity Training at Bodiline. Two pregnancies, birth recoveries and beautiful babies later Kathy is still passionate about the Pilates method and seeing the positive results producing long, strong and pain free bodies.

Leena initially found yoga in 2014 as a way of dealing with a busy career in Melbourne as an orthopaedic surgery trainee. Over time, the holistic benefits of yoga helped her realise her true passion - to instead, support the health of the community by combining general practice, sports medicine, and yoga as one. She recently completed her 200 hour teacher training in December 2019 with Meghan Currie in Bali and is excited to share her knowledge with you all.
Registered Nurse, Pilates Practitioner
Valerie started at Bodiline as a client in 2010 and with her love and appreciation of Pilates growing over the years she completed her Diploma of Contemporary Pilates and Teaching Methodology in 2018. She is also a registered nurse with many years in clinical practice and has also trained as a personal trainer. Valerie continues to further her education and attends international conferences as well as visiting Pilates studios in Australia and around the world. She is passionate about how the Pilates method builds strength, improves posture and flexibility not just in able-bodied clients but clients who have experienced injuries or chronic pain. Valerie lives in Port Macquarie with her loving husband and two gorgeous puppies.
